Dont Lose Heart, He is with you.

1samuel 17;45 ‘’David replied to them’’ ‘’you came to me with sword, spear, javelin, but I came to you in the name of the Lord of Heavens Armies .The God of the armies of Israel, whom you have defied. Today I will kill you and cut off your head. And then I will give the dead bodies of your men to the birds and wild Animals. The whole world will know that there is a god in Israel. And everyone assembled here will know that the lord rescues his people, but not with Sword and Spear .This is the Lords battle , and he will you to us.’’

David was confident in God. He had faith that God will protect him and give him victory even though he was about to fight against an enemy much bigger than him. He did not fear. He faced his enemy and said exactly what was to happen ‘’the power of life and death lies in the tongue’’. As Christians living today we need to adopt a similar attitude.

Alpha and Omega

Revelation 1: 8 “I am the Alpha and Omega – the beginning and the end,

says the Lord God.”

Greetings to you all saints, you know I have always known this verse well actually I didn’t know where it was in the bible but growing up in a Christian household and community I knew that God is the Alpha and the Omega. We all know the alpha and Omega song, right? You’ve heard it several times in church services, school, and funeral or somewhere, actually one of my friends calls it the anthem of Christians (I agree with him). But I’ve never really thought of what God means when He says He is the beginning and the end; I didn’t think that there could be a personal and deeper meaning to it. For me it meant God created the world and everything that is in it and He will end it all one day because He is all powerful and I still think it does mean that but not only that. I didn’t think that this verse could be related to our present time and our daily and personal struggles. It seemed a little bit far-fetched and plural until one day God at my hardest times when I was looking for answers said to me that He is MY Alpha and Omega. I prayed and thought about it and I was amazed at what I found out.
